HONORING A LIFE
In early 2024, our family experienced a profound loss. Like so many before us, we found ourselves navigating an overwhelming flood of emotions while simultaneously managing countless unfamiliar funeral arrangements; each wave of grief accompanied by another task demanding our attention.
One task that seemed straightforward ended up consuming most of a weekend: creating a memorial video. We considered ourselves proficient with PowerPoint and were determined to create something truly worthy of our loved one's memory. Yet the reality proved far more complex. The tedious process of importing each photo, carefully ordering over a hundred photo memories, and formatting every slide stretched on for hours. Then came the challenge of selecting music, learning video production software, and iterating until everything felt just right.

We searched for tools to help streamline the process, but found nothing that could ease the burden. So we pushed through our grief and created a beautiful memorial video—one our family still watches and treasures today.
We're an Austin, Texas-based family, mostly technologists by trade. In the weeks following the ceremony, a question kept returning to us: there must be a better way.
What began as a side project became a calling. We founded Celebrife and Memorial Video AI to modernize how families create lasting tributes to those they've lost. Our mission is simple: save families precious time during their most difficult moments while preserving the personal, heartfelt touches that make each remembrance unique.
We're passionate about helping families honor their loved ones with dignity, beauty, and far less stress, because grief is hard enough without technology getting in the way.
