HONORING A LIFE

In early 2024, our family suffered a loss, the process was full of emotion and many new funeral-related tasks, with both crashing upon us like waves.
One task, which seemed easy, took us most of a weekend: the Memorial Video. We considered
ourselves experts at PowerPoint and wanted to truly honor our lost loved one. But, the tedious importing, ordering and formatting for each memory just took a huge amount of time. Then we tackled learning and iterating on music and video production which was another whole process.

There were no real time-saving solutions available, so we just managed through our grief and created a special memorial video, one that we still watch on occasion.
Our family is based in Austin, Texas and we are mostly technologists by occupation. After the ceremony, we thought there must be a better way. At first we dabbled, as a side hustle, and then decided to dedicate ourselves to helping family honor loved ones in less time, while preserving their personal remembrance touches. We founded Celebrife and Memorial Video AI to help modernize human remembrance, saving families time when they really need it, and creating lasting digital remembrance solutions. We are passionate about helping families honor their lost loved ones.
